HODOS
9 Hermetic Rituals
HODOS, Greek for the way, is neither a novel nor a manual. It is an
initiatory literary mystery: nine rituals that are not read but
performed, through reading, imagining, and speaking aloud. The whole
book is in the second person, so the reader is not an observer but a
candidate passing through a rite.
The chief figure is not a man, but Life. Through twelve symbolic gates,
the nine rituals make one: a hermetic ritual of reconciliation, from
uncertainty to acceptance, from fear to trust. Its heart is the teaching
of surrendering the personal will — a man does not heal by his own force,
but grows still, surrenders, and receives trust, and then Life can act.
Enter. You need do nothing. What is needed, is already at work.

Architectural Guide to Pyrgos
7 Hermetic Symbols
A descent through seven rooms of an inner house, tied to one real
town that bears in the book its old name — Pyrgos, the tower. Seven
heavenly spheres, seven symbols, and at the end a step over the edge.
Through every room the traveler is followed by Pirotes, the inner
voice of the fever, overcome differently in each.
Where HODOS is the book of the spoken word and surrender, this is the
book of the inscribed trace and creation. Its heart is the Writ: what
was inscribed in you before you, not as a destiny that drives you, but
as an invitation. For the greatest secret, revealed only at the end, is
that you are not only written — you can write too.
What is not inscribed for you, inscribe yourself.
